安樂哲《經典儒學焦點概念》是一部以嶄新巨大的文明視野，采用中西比較哲學闡釋法，面向全球發布的經典儒家哲學焦點概念術語東西書。辭典涵蓋經典儒學關鍵哲聚會場地學術語近百個，將其置于中國原有的文明闡釋域境中，還原出它們本來的真實內涵，這無論是對世界清楚儒學，還是對中國對外講述儒學，都將是一部史無前例、發蒙起蔽的跨文明闡釋哲學術語東西書。

 

本書從中西哲學比較的角度出發，收錄了92個儒學關鍵術語，每一詞條先給出英文對應詞，再以《說文》等為依據訓詁，最后結合儒學經典用英文進行闡釋。本書的主旨在于糾正東方對中國文明的誤讀。

 

作者認為：中西思惟傳統各有本身一套獨特的哲學語匯，這套哲學語匯在各自文明語義環境中自圓其說而不成直接彼此翻譯，由于雙方對彼此底本語義結構性差別的疏忽，在以往中西哲學直接彼此翻譯過程中，存在著大批的文明不對稱誤讀、誤判；例如將儒學“天”誤讀為東方基督教的“Heaven”（“地獄”）一詞、將“禮”作為基督教的“ritual”（“宗交流教禮儀”）等。是以，僅靠詞對詞的翻譯，難以達到有用的溝通。

 

要使東方人恰當地輿解中國儒學，就必須顧及中西思惟傳統各自文明語義環境的分歧結構，采取對比彼此語義文明環境的闡釋方式，“使翻譯與闡釋相結合，以闡釋為主，翻譯為輔”。用這一方式，將分歧思惟傳統的主要哲學語匯、概念框架，放到各自文明語義環境中往進行二者差別的對比闡釋，用各自非哲學性的天然語言闡釋彼此的一套特有哲學語匯；以此較為恰當地表達中國儒學和中國思惟文明，進而完成從中國向東方傳達思惟的任務。

 

【作者簡介】

 

 

 

安樂哲，1947年誕生于加拿年夜多倫多，世界有名中西比較哲學家，國際著名漢學年夜師，孔子研討院特聘專家，山東省“儒學大師”。瑜伽教室曾任夏威夷年夜學哲學系傳授，現任北京年夜學哲學系人文講席傳授，世界儒學文明研討聯合會會長，國際儒學聯合會副會長，尼山圣源書院顧問，北京中外文明交通研討基地首席專家。2013年因其對中國思惟多年來的傑出研討獲得“孔子文明獎個人空間”。2016年，榮獲第二屆“會林文明獎”。2018年榮獲“文明之光·2018中國文明交通年度人物”；并榮獲“北京年夜學燕園友誼獎”；2019年榮獲“杜威學術學會2019終身成績獎”；2021年榮獲“中國當局友誼獎”。安樂哲傳授翻譯了《論語》、《年夜學》、《中庸》、《品德經》、《孝經》、《淮南子》、《孫子兵書》等書而蜚聲海內外，著有：《先賢的平易近主：杜威、孔子與中國平易近主之盼望》《通過漢代而思》《主術：中國現代政冶軌制之研討》《通過孔子而舞蹈教室思》等。
